Introduction

Added to FIAPF in 2009, the Warsaw Film Festival is the newest addition to the list of competitive film festivals. Within a short period, the festival has grown from an ambitious student event to an international film festival with a program of influential premiers. The festival is also host to the International Federation of Film Critics awards for enterprising filmmaking in Central and Eastern Europe. It is listed by Variety among Top 20 European fests.
