Introduction

Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) is not only the first international film festival in the Middle East, it is also the only one in Africa and the Middle East to be recognized by the competitive feature category from the FIAPF. And it is one of the 15 Festivals accorded category “A”. It is the oldest cultural event in Africa and Middle East.The goal of the CIFF is to promote films and develop meetings between cinema professionals around the world film industry in the Arab world, Middle East and around the world and show the Egyptian public the most important international films.
