    Introduction

Founded by a filmmaker in 1998, the BlueCat Screenplay Competition will now accept short films and screen the finalists at the Landmark Theatre in Los Angeles on June 19, 2018, with the best short receiving a cash prize of $2500.

Our previous Winners and Finalists of our screenplay competition have been signed by major talent agencies like UTA, CAA and WME, sold their work to studios like Warner Bros., Paramount, and Universal, and won major awards at the Sundance, Berlin and Tribeca Film Festivals, all after being discovered by and winning BlueCat.

The finalists (between 5-10 films) will be screened at the Landmark Theatre in Los Angeles on June 19th, 2018.

The winner for Best Short will receive $2500, which will be announced the night of the screening of the finalists on June 19th, 2018.
